It was my good fortune to be born and raised on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. I grew up enjoying the many activities this area has to offer, spending much of my youth on my bike, at the beach, or at the golf course. The golf bug bit me early in life, at about age 10, and through my participation in the AT&T Junior Golf Association I was able to practice and grow to appreciate the rich golf tradition we have here. I have come to value all of these childhood experiences even more as I get older.
My educational background includes a B.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University, with an emphasis on multinational organizations and development. I have always been interested in economics, history, current events, and political science so my scholastic focus has been on the international political economy and foreign policy analysis.
While attending college, I worked at The Olympic Club, the oldest athletic club in the United States, allowing me to gain some valuable work experience…and to improve my golf game. After graduation, I decided to put my career plans for international diplomacy on hold and enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management program as an apprentice, returning to the Monterey Peninsula and working at some of the most revered golf facilities in the world. This gave me the opportunity to better understand the business side of the golf industry.
After working in that capacity for many years, I found myself seeking a more rewarding, challenging, and stimulating career path, leading me to Integris where my focus is client service and business operations. Meeting the team here for the first time, I was immediately impressed with the cohesiveness, client centric approach to business, and community involvement.
In my spare time, I continue to enjoy playing golf and tennis, cycling, hiking, and taking photographs.
