Team Spotlight: Michelle Arroyo
We hope you enjoy getting to know Integris Team Member Michelle Arroyo a bit more from a recent sit down we had with her.
During the day, Michelle is Integris’ Office Manager. She assists with the firm’s technology oversight, human resources, facility management, vendor relationships, internal policies and procedures and more. In other words, she is the oil that keeps the Integris machine running smoothly. To learn more about Michelle’s professional background, please click here: Integris Team Bios. To learn more about Michelle outside of work, well, keep reading.
We asked about a memorable childhood experience, and learned that as a child she vacationed at Pajaro Dunes. At that time, her family did not live on the peninsula and that was her first introduction to the area she now calls home. To this day, they still rent the same condo and she now has the privilege of creating more fond memories there with her husband and children.
When discussing what she enjoys doing outside of Integris, it’s all about her husband and their two beautiful children. They love to spend time outside and she is happiest by the ocean. Their weekends are full of walks on the beach, Sunday morning hikes at Jack’s Peak, camping and going to sporting events. She also likes to have creative outlets, which currently include cooking and crafting.
As for her bucket list, Michelle hopes to watch the sunrise over the Grand Canyon and to visit New York City.
To really see into someone’s soul you have to find out about their favorite movie or TV series, music, book, food and sports teams, which for Michelle are:
TV Series: Lost
Movies: Bridesmaids and Goodfellas
Music: Marvin Gaye and Al Green
Book: anything by James Patterson
Food: Tacos and salads are hard to beat!
Sports teams: Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors
We asked about a funny quirk of Michelle’s, and let’s just say that you might not want to leave the dining table without pushing your chair in…. She is meticulous when it comes to furniture and décor, nothing can be out of place!
In parting, we asked Michelle for one piece of advice she would pass along, and she shared a quote from John L. Beckley, “Most people don’t plan to fail, they fail to plan.”
