About the CFP® certification
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is known as the standard of excellence for financial planners. Certificants are required to accrue at least 6,000 hours of relevant experience, complete the below curriculum covering 70 topic areas, pass a six-hour exam, and agree to always act in a fiduciary capacity by putting client interests first.
