Team Spotlight: Julie Roth

Growing up on a farm, some of Julie’s favorite childhood memories involve riding horses and taking care of bottle calves. She also has one unforgettable story from when she was 10: As she was being rolled into surgery for an appendectomy, her older brother told her he loved her. This statement was so shocking that his well-intentioned words immediately sent Julie’s imagination into overdrive. She figured that if her big brother was telling her he loved her right before surgery; she must be about to die! Thankfully, the surgery went well. Julie lived to appreciate the moment—and perhaps considers those words from her brother to be the real reason she needed time to recover.

When discussing what she enjoys doing outside of Integris, Julie enjoys golfing, hiking, travel, volunteering, and spending time with her family.

As for her bucket list, Julie would love to travel to New Zealand.

We asked about a funny quirk of Julie’s and she shared, “I make a to-do list of things I’ve already done, so that I can cross them off.”

In parting, we asked Julie to share one piece of advice she would offer clients, and she said, “Talk to your children early and often about the benefits of spending below your means and starting to save early to take advantage of compounding.”
