As sponsors of the Monterey Bay Football Club (MBFC), the Integris team piled into the newly rebuilt Cardinale stadium to watch the team’s home opener on May 7th. We were thrilled to see the club play their first home game in history and had a great time cheering on the team with the other 5,000 fans in attendance.
“It’s been rare for a professional sports team to be in the area. The games bring so much energy and excitement to the area that it’s just fun to be a part of it,” said Kevin Mahoney (Managing Partner).
The most exhilarating moment of the night was watching Walmer Martinez score the game-winning goal, helping the Monterey Bay Football Club defeat the Las Vegas Lights 1-0.
“I was excited to be at the opener because I think having a soccer team in Monterey will be great for the local youth who are passionate about sports,” said Katherine Woolever (Investment Associate) after the game, “It was really nice to see the local players represent the community as role models and give children something to aspire towards.”
