Apollo D. Lupescu
Apollo Lupescu is Vice President at Dimensional Fund Advisors, one of the premier investment managers in the world, managing over $677 billion in assets. He is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker who has delivered hundreds of lectures and seminars to financial professionals and individual investors on various investment topics. Apollo is considered the “secretary of explaining stuff”, because he has a knack for explaining complicated issues in a clear and understandable way.
Prior to joining Dimensional over 20 years ago, Apollo had his own consulting firm, which provided services to the US Department of State and the White House on a variety of projects. His interests in finance and investments led him to teaching engagements at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). In addition to his PhD in Economics and Finance from UCSB, Apollo has a BA in Economics from Michigan State University, where he competed in and coached water polo.
